I read that tkSnack module, for audio manipulation, does need tkInter module... so I arrived to this thread.

Does it exist tkSnack for pys60, or any similar audio module? What I'm looking for is a functin to detect pitch in audio file/stream.

You need to create this function yourself or port tkSnack to PyS60. PyS60 includes only minimal set of standard Python API functions.

Tkinter module is not in PyS60 roadmap.

If you are interested in creating UI on PyS60, appuifw is still the only UI module.
But, support for Qt is certainly in our roadmap.
