Hi, I'm developing an app that is supposed to use the phone's camera to take snapshots every so often without human intervention. I'm going the Symbian C++ route, but I was wondering if anyone knows if S60 phones require the user to authorize the camera operation, as midlets do?

    Thank you
    Sergio

You can freely use the camera after installation. If you use self-signing, the device will ask the user about usage of the camera on installation time. If you use any other signing, the device will not ask anything.
