using sis file in mobile N-80

I have written a script that uses the keycapturer module
i converted this .py to sis and also got it signed for SwEvent from Symbian Online
i installed sis on my phone in phone memory(I do not have memory card)
but the app is not working

pls help

I have also use uitricks module then is that causing problem??then what is the solution

Can you mention the steps you use to make the sis. Did you embedded the extensions properly??

Steps to be followed:

1. Install Python(2.5.4) on the PC. Download the latest version from
http://www.python.org

2. Verify that the Python interpreter works OK and check what version it
is, i.e. open a Command Prompt window and type:

C:\Python25>python -V

3. Create a folder C:\Ensymble

3. Download a proper version of pre-squeezed Ensymble. Each major
version of Python (2.2, 2.3, 2.4 and 2.5) require a different version
of Ensymble. Rename it to ensymble.py and move it to C:\Ensymble

4. Go to page http://www.stunnel.org/download/binaries.html and scroll
down. Download files libssl32.dll (632226 bytes), libeay32.dll (1578787
bytes) and openssl.exe (1153024 bytes) and put them in C:\Ensymble

5. Open Windows environment variables dialog (My Computer ->
Properties -> Advanced -> Environment Variables -> System Variables ->
Path). Add C:\Ensymble in front of the path.

6.Add your py script to C:\Ensymble

7.Go to command prompt and go to directory C:\Ensymble and then type
>ensymble_python.py py2sis --appname="application" --shortcaption="My
App." --caption="My Application" --version=1.2.3 --verbose your_script.py

8.The sis file is ready in C:\Ensymble

if i got you correctly and if you want to make a complete sis using the extensions the i feel you need to merge the extension sis with your application using mergesis option of ensymble.

Go through the readme of ensymble you will get that.

yes obviously if your sis requires uitricks module then you need to install that in the mobile too with your actual application sis.

ya thats bit difficult if your application contains much of dependencies the its a problem to distribute it with the interpreter. i feel you are using PyS60 1.4.5 then what you can do is make a zip file and keep all the sis there and instruct the use to install all of them separately.

Sorry this is not the efficient way but i feel there seems to be no other option, please do correct me if there is any other option.
