Help with signing python shells freedev

I am trying to sign python for pys60 and pythonshell that has a unsigned freedevcert.sis extension. I tried versions 1.3.20, 21, 22 and so on and i get this error FAILURE: Submitted .sis file uses a UID that is not allocated to the account holder matching this email address (0xf0201516 ) . I do it at https://www.symbiansigned.com/app/pa...ignedOnline.do and get that error. What am i doing wrong?

I read that i need to sign the python and python shell in order to use the keypress module done by cyke in 3rd edition (of course signing this too). Is this correct or am i wasting my time in trying to sign the files?

Hi,

Why would you try 1.3.20 when you can use 1.4.5?

The Python runtime is already signed by Nokia with more capabilities than you can access. You just have to sign the script shell and the extensions you want to use (keypress in this case).

Oh ok, I thought I needed to sign both the python and the python shell to let python programs written by the user to work. Thank you .

What about the freedevcert files, can i sign them online or must i have a publisher ID and download the developer cert program from symbian?

You can sign online. Publisher ID is only needed if you need to sign for multiple IMEIs or if you want advanced signing options.
