I'm debugging app using N97 emulator. It is very inconvenient that emulator will exit after I exit my application(Not terminate debug). as a result, emulator needs to be launched for each debug. Launching emulator takes about 2 minutes at least on my laptop, very painful!
I experienced the same problem on S60 5th SDK emulator.. Compared with previous SDK emulators, it is a worse behaviour.

How can I keep emulator open always? Thanks

Are you sure that process you start for debugging is EPOC.EXE and not some executable of yours?
There should be a setting in Carbide where you set the process _to start_ on debug and the processes _to debug_.

Check this, maybe your settings are messed somehow. Hovewer my N97 emulator doesn't even start, but we used to have similar problems with other SDKs.
