    Hello everyone,

I want to know whether I can access and read the STLport libraries installed on a device with OpenC++. And if it is possible, from where can I access and read the libraries and do I need to have any specific (data caging) security permissions. Thanks a lot! (I am somewhat of a beginner and have only tested a small application on an emulator - no experience with device testing)

Another question - my emulator showed a 10% CPU usage...and after a couple of days it was showing a 20% usage for the same program with identical input. Why so?

Open C++ actually builds on STLport, have not you noticed that you refer \epoc32\include\stdapis\stlport when using Open C++?

ummm....I meant that besides my program using the STLport libraries to compile and run, I want to be able to manually call and read those libraries by coding it in my program...for example to display the contents of the header files to the users of my program?? (does that make sense?) Thanks

Technically you can use any .dll via the RLibrary-way. Practically it will be time consuming a bit.

For the capabilites, the same rules apply as always: a process can not load a .dll having less capabilities than itself. It does not matter if the given .dll happens to be loaded by the .lib or you.
