Improve lbs with JSR 256

hello everyone!!
I have developed an application using jsr179 API. Now i'd like to improve the gps data by using the jsr 256. My application works on N95 and i use 3rd Edition FDP1 SDK. Is that possible to use the jsr 256 on N95 and merge data from gpssensor and for example from pedometer in order to improve the position? If there is not possible, is there any kind of solution for postproccessing GPSdata bevor using them in order to improve the location?
Any help would be appreciated.

JSR-256 is not avalable on N95. That API was only introduced in Java for S60 version 1.4 (http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.ph..._Release_notes)
