MIDP 1.0 doesn't support SMS functionality by itself.
Look into propiertary API's like Nokia's SMS API.

3410 supports a vendor specific API - Nokia SMS API
3650 supports the optional extension package to MIDP - WMA (This is what will be supported for messaging from now on)

i working on SMS project and install it as an application it sends i use my own font different from Latin but many mobile device can not display the fonts
do u have any idea?
