SIS Installation Error on E65 during installation process

Hi,

i work on an application (Symbian 9.1 S60 3rd MR SDK). The app is open signed online. Installation on a N73 works but if i try to install the same app on my E65 device installation is aborted with:“Expired Certificate” error message that says “Certificate may not yet be valid, is expired or phone’s date setting may be incorrect”.

App is autostart app. Capabilities: None. Signed: Open Online Certificate: "Cidercone, GB, London...".

did you used the IMEI of E65 to sign the SIS ? if yes then check the date & time on E65

If it had been an IMEI error the error would have "Constrained by certificate", so I go with the latter suggestion of the date and/or time is wrong.

Of course hard resetting the device and trying again might also help

Hi,

i have two kind of apps one is for the E65 the other is for the N73. Both are open signed online with different IMEI's. After adjusting the time and date and installing the right app on the right device it works.
