type of Certified signing to be used

Hi all,

I am creating an antitheft application and using these five capabilities

NetworkServices
ReadDeviceData
ReadUserData
WriteDeviceData
WriteUserData

I want to know that what type of certified signing one should choose, for example in the link http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.php/Test_houses

Mphasis offers three type of application signing.

Symbian Signed application:
first round: 185€
resubmissions: 160€
Symbian Signed and Nokia tests (excl. NUI-01 - NUI-05), for applications with sensitive capabilities:
first round: 280€
resubmissions: 250€
Symbian Signed and Nokia tests (whole test plan), for applications in Nokia projects:
first round: 500€
resubmissions: 350€

I am not able to decide which one to choose and how much time a test house usually takes to sign the application.

Any guidance on this would be great

I would assume that with those capabilities you could go for express signing as well..

i suggest as you are not using very high capability you apply for "Symbian Signed application" you might also try using Express Signing.

But i need to run an .exe on the phone restart and i dont want to give control of enabling/disabling the EXE run on the phone restart to user. Can i get a waiver on this in express signing.

Also, can you please tell me how much time a test houser takes to test the application and in how many rounds an applications gets the signed tag from the test house.

depending on test house it might take 3 days to a week. but if you go for Express signing it is also same day.
