Out of Memory Exception in

Hello,

I tried to use zoomIn and ZoomOut to make image adjust according to screen size but i got Out of memory exception on emulator even. Can some one tell me what can be the issue in it ? The following is a link for zoomin and out code.

How big is the image you are trying to zoom, and what size of image are you trying to create?

The size is 272 kb. its width is 538 and 360. If i am displaying simply then it is displaying but if i call any zoom function then it is giving OutOfMemoryException.

Also remember that whislt zooming you will have the memory consumption of the original Image AND of the per-pixel Array you most probably are using AND the memory consumption of the new Image...
Or am I mentioning too many AND's graham ?

So what could be solution ? I just need the application on S60 5th edition which has good memory but yet i am facing problem.

Its size was 272 KB but when i changed its size to make comfortable with n 96. Its size became some what less 130. Right now only one image but i may need many images one by one. When i am calling zomming it is creating problem.

I mean, when you're zooming at run-time. How big, in pixels?
