    Hi..
    I am currently exploring carbide c++ with s60 3rd FP1 sdk
    and found so many good examples but without GUI design..

    is that possible that i could add UIDesign extension to the existing code without error so that I'd be simple to trace.. ?

    Yes you can add UI designer to your exsiting app.
