Good day all!
My goal is configuring of WLAN connection, using CAPABILITIES and link to the CommDB "Communications Database", I know that It same as configuring generic Access Point settings. In documentation for Series60 V3 FP2 we have some description of the WLAN tables, it’s names of “columns and tables” only. No related to tables default and actual values of table records.
In practice, using the emulator I can call ceddump.exe and get “text image” of Tables from Communications Database. But even in S60V3FP2 emulator, CommDB dumped to the text file haven’t any tables related to WLAN and no ways to create WLAN access point in emulator I think.
One thing I don’t have currently smartphone with WI-FI ((
Because I need your HELP, to get CommsDB “text image” from real WI-FI phone with defined Access Point!!
Required info:
Access Point defined is storing in Communications Database. Really Communication database begins from Symbian 9 can’t be accessed via cdbv3.dat file, but only from Central Repository.
I think many people around has hacked phones with all capabilities opened, include ALL FILES Capability. So central repository files can be easily accessed via any file explorer on next paths:
“X:\private\10202be9\cccccc00.cre” OR
“X:\private\10202be9\persists\cccccc00.cre”.
Where are disks:
Disk “Z”, one part required
Disk “C” another part required
So, Needed both files!
I will very happy if any body add these files to the topic message, and it will contain WI-FI connection settings. And I can “convert” it to the tables view; and post to topic.
Thanks in advance![]()
