Q RE: New devices available for distributing your Ovi Store content

I received the "New devices available for distributing your Ovi Store content" email today.

How are these new devices handled for content items either in the QA queue or already pass QA?

I ask because we support two of the devices, but I'm hesitant to unlock any of our files to add them fearing that previously approved items will go back and get stuck in QA, and items in the QA queue will get bumped to the back of the line when relocked.

Hi,

Thank you for the question.
One trick is to create a separate content file under the same content but with different distribution. You can choose the new devices in the distribution.
Then, the delay in new device won't affect the old content. Our QA team will try to avoid as much delay as possible in the new device process.
