Publishing a C++ Symbian App on Ovi?

Hi All,

We are just getting started with developing software/applications for Nokia using C++ Symbian technology. Would like to know if Ovi Store would be the best option to publish these applications?

Yes, it is the best, but not the only one and you can sell your app through each and every channel you wish. But first get the application done

If your app is adware or sponsored, at no cost to the end user, there are some very good sites in addition to OVI. (GetJar, Mobile9, etc.)

If you app is a premium app (end user must buy), then OVI is still a good choice like ltomuta point out, but also consider carrier app stores like Orange, Singtel Appzone, App.Airtel, etc.

Indeed, it is really easy to buy an Ovi Application and spread it to anyone else for free.
