Getting IP of a mobile phone on the server hosting a WAP site

Hi,

I am thinking of developing a WAP site , which i would be accessing using my mobile phone. I wanted to know whether do we get the IP address of that mobile phone on the WAP site ( i.e on the server where i have hosted my WAP site) which i can store in a database on the server.

hi,

WAP gateway will have IP of the mobile phone accessing the WAP Site. If WAP gateway of the operator sends in one of the Headers then at server end you will have it. But most of the WAP gaetways' send MSISDN inplace of IP in a header X-msisdn. However this also depends on operator.
