Ovi Maps On Nokia E63

Hello to everybody,

i had ovi maps on my new phone and i want to use this to navigate.
i didn't have an internet flat or something else and i dont want to use gprs...but i think that ovi maps use gps or is that wrong?
if it use gps is that for free or must i pay for every route or so?

i didnt find any information about that on the ovi maps page.
