Does MMS have to go over GPRS?

Is MMS always implemented with GPRS as the bearer or do some operators use GSM?

MMS does not have to go over GPRS, you can use WAP but we see in our test that MMS can not be downloaded because WAP is very slow. When UMTS ready we can use it. The problem is the speed of network.

Hi!

MMS goes always over WAP, but WAP is a berarer independent. So your MMS can go over CSD, HSCSD or GPRS (Maybe over SMS also, but I have not seen it implemented).
