Nokia 7650 and socket communication

I´m developing an application for Nokia 7650 which needs to open a socket with a server. With the emulator everything works fine, but I´m having problems with the phone.

I have seen in other threads of the forum that many people are having the same the problem. In those threads, other developers say that their applications with sockets work nicely.

I would like to know which SW version of the nokia 7650 are using these ones, in order to update my phone and make my application work on the phone.
