Hi,

TRK issue while trying to connect to N97, Using carbide 2.2.0. via USB.

While doing 'Initiate service testing - 'Error: TCFError: Error occurred while accessing communication port.

While trying to install TRK plugin 3.1.2 from Carbide - N97 says 'Component is built in'.

Serial port: N97 USB
Device OS: s60 5.0.0
Service to test: TRK

Any clue?

I doubt TRK is not started on device. Anyway to check if TRK is running on device or how to start TRK from N97 device ?

If you have TRK installed on your device you can find its icon in the Applications folder, start the client, configure its connection parameters and then make sure you start it before attempting to connect from the PC side. See ODD link in my signature.

Hi! I try to install TRK on my N97 using Carbide 2.2 using Help -> On Device Conections -> install remote agent -> Application TRK 3.1.2 for S60 5.0.

It tries to install, but on the phone it gives a message: "Component Built In"

I can not see any TRK any where - I guess it did not install. Probably something in the Phone's ROM is having conflict. Do you know what it could be?
