Statistics on Bluetooth

Hi all,
probably this is not the right place to ask this question, but I am looking for some statistics on how many people actually have their phone´s bluetooth turned on.

We are thinking of implementing Bluecasting but before buying the bluetooth transmitter, we need to have an idea of the amount of people we could actually reach with it.

As far as I am concerned, the majority of people keep their bluetooth turned off to save battery time, but if anybody knows of studies being done on the this and pass the info onto me, I would be really grateful!

You may also want to do a Google search for something like "Bluetooth privacy" and see what you find. I remember some studies looking into how one's privacy is at risk while keeping the Bluetooth on and discoverable and I expect you should find some indications about the data you need in those studies as well.

Or you can make a survey your self and see how many people are using BT on daily basis. Some people may be aware of BT and after using it they keep it off but some other may keep it on as well.
