Images are getting resized?

Hi, I am displaying images that are downloaded via http. On the 6555 and the 6085, the images are being reduced in width by about 10 pixels. On the sides of the image the blue background can be seen. Has anyone else seen this problem, and do you know how to correct it?

This is not a familiar problem.

What format are the images?

If you put the same images in the JAR, and load them with createImage(filename), do they then display OK?
