As a regular buyer of nokia phones i am increasingly unhappy about the way my 8310 is operating in accordance to my other nokia's.

I have always updated my phones from the 5100, 3210, 3310, 8210, 8250 and now an 8310 all in the last 3 or 4 years.

My 8310 is struggling to stay on when i write text messages and often switches itself off or resets.

The cost me a great deal of money without a contract and i was contemplating upgrading to a 6100 before my troubles started.

Is this a manufacture or phone fault and how can i have this ammended without it costing as much as a new phone?
