How I detect message and sender details from inbox

I have just begun to study about Symbian c++, so my knowledge is not too much

I want to get details about incomming messages from Inbox such as message, sender phone number, name etc. Can I do that? And if I can,what I should study , or Are there any example code about this provided?

I want to do it because it is necessary for my term project.

You can certainly do that, u can refer the link mentioned in previous reply... I will suggest search WIKI , there are several articles on SMS and also i will also recomend you to study few basics of Symbian C++ first.
