    Hi All,

As far as I understand it, the widget on the homescreen acts as one big button so as soon as you press on it, it will launch the widget in full screen, right?

then my question is can we have more than 1 active area (for example - 2 buttons) on the widget homescreen so that depending on which button you press it takes you to a different area of the widget.

    Thanks in advance, people :-)

    Hello,

Unfortunately only native applications can have multiple active regions on their home screen view.
For widgets this is not possible. However you could check what was shown in homescreen, when the widget was maximized and act upon that.

thanks for the reply and the suggestion, but what I intend to do is to have the two active areas present at the same time on the homescreen, how about adding an onclick event handler to check where the user touches on the homescreen?? is it possible to do? that way I know where the user touches and can display the relavant screens as the widget comes full screen.

    Thanks

    Ken

    Hi Ken,

as Ilkka said, this is not possible with current Web Runtime versions (no onclick handlers will be fired within home screen widgets). Let's hope for the next versions
