Encoding problem

Good evening,
I've installed Nokia WRT Plug-in. Then i have created a new project, RSS Reader Widget Project where the feedurl was this http://services.sapo.pt/Traffic/GeoRSS. but when i run the application some character appear in this way.

How can i solve this?

Hi trkpower,

checking the RSS code it seems that HTML entities are not correctly encoded, so that should be the reason why you get those strange characters in your widget. As an example, the õ character should be encoded as õ

Hi,
Thanks for your help. It's kind of weird because when i'm doing a rss parse in php to that page everything appears ok.
Do you know a way to solve this problem?

Hi trkpower,

some characters (e.g.: accented ones) should be appropriately encoded on server side in order to make browsers appropriately interpret and display them. In your case, if you cannot change the server side, you can try by manually replacing/encoding them within the WRT widget.
