    Hi

I'm looking for something wich could be interresting, but i dont know if it is possible to do in WRT.

The purpose is I want to do something like a notification when my widget fires an event. But my widget must be on HomeScreen and so, must run in background.

For example, with the RSSReader, when it updates, the Homescreen view updates, and then, the widget opens in full screen mode.

Is there a way to do that?

    Regards

    Hi bduthoit,

to check if I correctly got what you intend: you want your widget to be automatically brought in fullscreen and foreground on specific events?

    Yes ! That's it !

But if another way exists (less intrusive for the end-user) to alert a user that something happened in his widget, I take it too !

Antoher example, you created a calendar widget, you have a metting at 12:00, if your widget is running in background, I want to alert my user the meeting is beginning.
