Nokia 2330 - JSR 135

Hello, I'm developing a J2ME application and I'm trying to access the camera using the MMAPI, but it does not work.

According to the specification, it says the device supports the JSR-135 http://www.forum.nokia.com/devices/2330_classic/

Has anybody developed using JSR-135 for these device?

The MMAPI support of these low-end phones is very limited. I think only simple audio playback is available

JSR 235 is an optional API. That is, even if the phone supports JSR 235, it may not be supporting all features of JSR 235.
Mobile Media API system properties that can be accessed by calling System.getProperty().
Check whether System.getProperty(video.snapshot.encodings). This will return the details of video snapshot formats supported. If it does not return any value, it means this device does not support image capture.

Other system properties for checking MMAPI features are,
supports.mixing
supports.audio.capture
supports.video.capture
supports.recording
audio.encodings
video.encodings

Yes, I have checked the "video.snapshot.encodings" system property in this cellphone but it returns null.

According to this I can't access the camera using JME in this cellphone, so anybody knows about any nokia model with the same characteristics of the 2330 (I mean low-end phone, cheap, etc.) and it allows to use the camera?
