Finding out root certificate present on device

Hi,

We are planning to buy a code signing certificate for our java midlet. We have quite a large set of devices to support. As we know, the device must have the certificate with which we have signed our build for successful installation of build on that device.

Now my question is, is it possible somehow to know what certificates are present on devices without having an actual device? Because it’s not really possible to buy those devices which we want to support just to check the availability of certificate. How to conclude on which certificate to buy without having all the devices which we want to support?

Any help towards this will be highly appreciated.
