How to change Select-Cancel cba text at runtime?

Hi,

I am creating an application which is having multilanguages support. Using my application user can change language at runtime. I am able to change the text on Options-Exit Cba properly, but how do I change the text of Select-Cancel Cba that appears on Options click ?
Select-Cancel text is displayed in phone language that is set (English in my case). Please tell me if there is a solution for this problem.
I would also like to know if this can give me problem if I want to get my application Symbian signed ?

Not sure if you can override that one unless you change the phones language.

Thanks ..... but my question is something else. I want to know whether I can get access to the Select-Cancel Cba which appears when Options is clicked, so that I can change their text\ use my own Select-Cancel Cba.

I have exactly the same question as you regarding Select/Cancel.

Basically the Options menu is handled by the Application framework, so it will use the system resource's for the buttons. And thus it is using the language strings of the current device language. If you want to use something else, you could try using pop-up dialogs instead of actual options-menu.

Does seem strange that you can modify all other labels, but those.
Will be a pain to have to develop custom control just for this purpose.
I will do some more digging around but losing hope rapidly!

it is not strange at all, if you use some applciation framework parts that handle the CBA's themselves, you can expect them to be handled that way. Anyway, did you read my post, there was a suggestion that would give you control as well as more-or-less same user experience..
