Hide image-files

Hi,
can anyone tell me how I can hide Image-Files?
I have to copy some files to my c: drive but they should not be shown in the picture-viewer. Is there a function or something like that so I can do it with the pkg-file?

put images other then gallery folder for example \System\Data\<your application name>\iamges\

Copy them in a hidden directory (Hidden attribute set on) or, if that is not enought, in a fake thumbnail directory.
