    Hello,
I am interested to develop an application based on Computer vision for Nokia N95. It will require capturing images with the camera of the handset and processing them as fast as possible. Which one among J2ME and Symbian C++ will be feasible for this? Does J2ME require more processing time than Symbian c++? please help.

    with thanks
    Madeena

This kind of code will run significantly faster in C++. If "as fast as possible" is a requirement, then use C++.

    Thank you very much Graham.
I am interested to learn Symbian c++ and apply it for my application.
Are the resources(e.g. compiler, emulators) required for Symbian c++ free and available in internet? And also are they good enough for developing applications for commercial use? Any useful URLs are appreciated.

    With thanks

You probably want to start at the Symbian C++ QuickStart page. You should find everything you need there.

You'll also find the Symbian C++ discussion boards useful.

    Good luck!
    Graham.
