program exits when installing other app

Hi,

When my program is accessing memory, like writing or downloading some files, i install some other app.

After the app is installed successfully, my program is exit.

Since my program is simple enough that it is only writing some strings in while(1) loop, is this a bug of symbian?

if not, how can i avoid exit?

or at least, can i receive the message of installing some app?

i'v checked the code in SDK, and find that the panic is related to the long running synchronous operations (Writing, eg.)

you could try replacing the loop with real active object handling, then your application would respond to window server events and you could avoid this crash.
