midlet to midlet communication

HOw to do midlet to midlet communication.i.e I want to send data to other application .....how is it to be done......
Can we create a ref of the other application and call the methods in my application.Will the concerned forms which are added in other application can be shown...if we can then how we can move from this application to my application.........

Please anyone help

AFAIK the two midlets can communicate using sockets only,there exists no other mechanics like shared memory or any other inter midlet communication.

inter-MIDlet communications is enabled on MIDP 3.0. But MIDP 3.0 not available on any mobile phone

Currently no one has implemented this JSR MIDP 3.0

For more information you can check this.

Once the reference implementation available on Sun WTK or on Nokia SDK in future you will be able to get sample application.

Till now no sample code, but in specification you check does it meet your requirement or not for future.
