QMediaplayer example shows lot of message : "dsp_thread: failed waiting for events"

Hi,

I am using Qt example of Media Player

I have got lot of warnings on my N900 device when I open & pause any pre-installed video:
dsp_thread: failed waiting for events
dsp_thread: failed waiting for events
dsp_thread: failed waiting for events
dsp_thread: failed waiting for events
.........

Is it an issue in GStreamer backend of Phonon?

I have tried to patch:

But I still get error messages "dsp_thread: failed waiting for event", when the video playback is paused

So, what I have missed ?

Well, patch was for RTSP streams... What did you say you are playing there?

I am playing pre-installed videos which are already present on the device when you buy it: 9.mp4 and Nokia_N900.mp4

It happens and the end of playback:

gst-launch -v -t playbin2 uri="file:///home/user/MyDocs/.videos/9.mp4"

Probably the problem is quite similar to problems with RTSP streams. You can report it to gstreamer bug tracker, if it's so crucial for you or may try to fix it yourself.

It happens mostly when the playback is PAUSED.

I will just wait a next Maemo package of GStreamer. It is a so obvious bug, that I am sure, that someone at Maemo will take care of it.
