GPS Strange problem

Hi All,

I have created a midlet that works fine but it has some problem scenario is I get gps using Location listener interface pass it to apache server for 8 to 10 hrs the app runs fine then It just failed it freezes in bizzare manner all options of my app are shown ie command listener is working but when I choose any option nothing happens so it means my app is not hanged but I dont know what actually is the problem of this scenario

may I ask if for any chance you are using a List item with images which gets updated with anything every x seconds ?

yeah I have a canvas class for displaying the main screen of app and I also thought that way so I sleep the thread for 500msbut it doesnt uses any images
And also created an test midlet in which only form is used to display the data, but dat also doesnt works for me in that also app just freezes

hhmm well I was talking about a real List item (or a class extending List), I have had problems with that...
But your problem actually doesn't sound like anything I've encountered... Have you placed your connectivity code towards the server on a dedicated thread ?
The application does run for several hours (reading gps data) and then just freezes ?
Do you know what the memory usage is in the last couple of minutes of correct functioning ?

HI actually I am working on opensource project openDMTP
I tested my GPS related code only it works flawlessly for 2 days and more and finally I have to manually quit the program

but when I integrate code with dat openDMTP it doesnt works for more than 8 or 9 hrs
