problem in installing jar file?

Hi,
I am having a problem in installing jar file
when i try to install it in my mobile it gives me an Invalid Jar File error
Can u tell me the reason why is it happening so...

Several problems could cause this.

Work through this list of common installation problems. If you don't find the solution, remember to tell us:

1. what device you're installing on
2. if you are installing a JAD and JAR, or just JAR
3. the contents of JAD, and/or the JAR's MANIFEST file

Hi,

I just completed developing a j2me application (CLDC 1.1, MIDP2.0) and it worked fine with the emulator (Sun Java Wireless Toolkit) while testing. But when I tested the jar file in the mobile (Nokia 7210 MIDP2.1 compatible) it showed invalid application.

I also tried running the jar file directly form the SunJava Emulator seperately but it showed manifest file corrupted.

I would be pleased, if anyone could help me with this problem.

Which device are u using? The CLDC and MIDP configuration must be in according to ur phone.

If they're the same, then CleanAndBuild ur application and use the new jar&jad files created.

Just open ur JAD file with textpad or notepad , copy all the contents written there and post them here..
