how can i make a splash screen?

hi everybody,
i want to make a splash screen in N900 device.
i am using Qt 4.5 .
i searched the internet but i found that QSplashScreen is not compatible in Qt 4.5.
how can i do that?

i was not mean symbian , i konw that but i mean how can i do that in maemo which does not support QSplashScreen?

Where did you find that? Example, provided by kkrish works perfectly on N900.

yes , his example works on N900 but when the splash screen are closed it apears as it was crashed.
but finally i found a solution to that and it works now perfectly .

What you probably missed in the wiki: this issue is fixed in 4.6 (out Real Soon Now), so you can remove that hack.

Yesterday Qt 4.6.2 was released for Maemo 5.

Qt 4.5.3 will be replaced on Maemo 5 with Qt 4.6.2 in next release of firmware.
