    Hi,
i am vinay, i have a j2me code to capture an image while camera runs....
so when i try to capture an image it(application) is asking for permission...
I think it(application) needs a digitally signed certificate for this...so please tell me whether it is possible to generate our own signed certificates or not....in any case is it possible or not.. please sir give me some valuable information..

    Thank you...Thank you very much..

    No, it is not possible.

For more information, this is a good place to start.

    hello,

I want to let you know that it will not ask for the
permissions once the application will get signed.
so you have to buy the certificate from the
    third party.
and one thing more self signing is not possible
    in j2me.

Signing will not make all the permission dialogues disappear. The application may still ask for permission. Signing usually has the following effects:

    1. Some permission defaults might change from "always ask" to "ask first time".

    2. The "always allow" option might be enabled for some permission groups.

However, there is no specific guarantee. Actual results of signing depend on the device and the network operator variant.
