URGENT--Nokia E90 signal lost

My uncle used his phone in a flight ..after which he switched it off but now the signal is lost completely..pls help

Forum Nokia is for Developer's support. Try http://www.nokia.com/discussions/ that is for end products and they may have more expertise on this.

My idea... just pull the battery out for a few seconds and that usually will reset the phone and it will find the carrier when you start again.

one thing which happens to me when I'm traveling that the automatic detection takes awhile, so you could try searching for the networks manually as well. and once you get one set on, then set it back to automatic. Also do check with other device that your SIM card is valid, as well as make sure the operator is not blocking the device for some reason.
