Server certificate is not valid

Hi,
I have a midlet that gets the localization and then sends the coordinates using httpconnection to the server.
The problem is that sometimes when I start the application and before it ask for permission to connect I get this message:

If I press continuar, the application asks for permission to connect and continues working fine. And If I press rechazar it doesn´t ask for permission and it doesn't do anything.

I realize that this happen everytime I restart the phone.

Could you please help me solve this problem?

If you deal if error messages, change the language settings to English. This way, you find much much more results on the Internet and near to all other developers can read and help you. Furthermore, you should specify which device you use, because Series 40 and Symbian behave very different. Anyway, judging from your explanation, you use a Symbian device.

We do not know either, why your certificate is not valid.
Check the date and time settings on your phone, at least the date must be today.
Another common issue is a missing intermediate certificate. Access that website with Apple Safari. If you get the same error message, the short answer is to fire that website administrator. Long answer …

I'm using a nokia 2710 (Series 40). The date and time on the phone and server are right. I accessed the website with Apple Safari and I didn`t get any error message.

In Safari, clicking on the keychain icon will show more details. The ‘International Server CA’ is an intermediate to Class 3 (G1). Do you see this hierarchy in Safari?

How do you get that question screen? Normally in Series 40, problematic certificate chains are rejected with a Java exception. Do you work with platformRequest?

I have been looking for this, but I haven´t find a solution.

Series 40 is picky about the order of the certificates on the server. For example own » root » intermediate is rejected. ‘own, intermediate, root’ works. To check for this, you have to use dedicated tools like OpenSSL. However, it could be anything, therefore, I would go for paid technical support.
