    Hi,
How can we implement a two way video chat or two way simultaneous streaming in mobile applications.
I have accomplished this in desktop application by using two separate RTP streams.
One for recording and other for playing.
Can this be accomplished in a cell application?
Which technology would be preferrable.J2ME or Symbian??

    Regards
    Biju Chandran

yes it is possible only problem is mobile IPs are dynamic IPs so you might have to think about a solution to transfer IP to other side.

    Thanks SKumar.

    But this post
    http://discussion.forum.nokia.com/fo...ght=Video+chat
says that it will be possible only in Symbian C++

    and this says
    http://discussion.forum.nokia.com/fo...ght=Video+chat

that recording stream and playing stream cannot co exist.

if the J2ME experts are saying they yes it might not be possiable on J2ME devices.

it all depends on how you want to play the video. if that is the case then how the Video calls work ?

I have not used the video calls as it is not supported by the network.
In video calls, can the sender and the recipient both see and chat with each other???

Is there any reference application or sample code etc ..Anything that you could direct me to.
In my case the server will be broadcasting and it will have a static IP.
But everytime the IP of the cell phone changes it will have to notify the server and create a new stream with the new IP.
