video recording time limit

am a beginner to j2me..am dng an application in which i have done capturing a video..now i need to set a time limit
while the video is being recorded...where after that specified time the video recording has to be stopped and it just have to show a message whether to exit or to continue.
could anyone plz help me regarding this.

thanks for ur reply it was very helpfull...am dng an j2me video capturing application in which i have done capturing a video...in that when i start recording the video it just have to check the available space present in the phone memory using PlayerListener option.
am using an S60
could anyone plz help me .
