cursor on canvas

i want to add a cursor to my map canvas.if i click that cursor then a marker should be placed on the location.The locations should be saved.They should be retrievable when i search those.How can i do it any ideas,source codes.Please........

If you draw image of cursor on canvas and then you can receive the touch event and other numeric keys event. and then you can redraw image and all stuff to give the affect of cursor.
