record save and retrieve

hi

am dng a mobile application in which am using RMS to store a number and some details regarding that number.....
where in that when i store a number ,the details of that number should be saved in the record say for example
the address and some details .
later when i edit that number and when i save it,the edited details should be saved in
that record under the same id.

am using a S60 series.
can anyone plz help me.
