we do not have a dedicated forum for Maemo on this board (aside for Qt for Maemo) and the reason for that is that there is already an active community and shared knowledge over at http://maemo.org

i need to disable multiple window animation .Is there any maemo library to do such things like libosso.Plz tell me a way to do it.When I close a window the other application which is in background get minimized.I want to disable it.

i didn't got my solution from this link.It is given if you hack the source file util/hd-transitions.c and
home/hd-task-navigator.c then by setting the transition to zero this can be fixed.Actually I want these animation should be disable for my application .From user interface is there any way to disable it.I have tried with apt-get install transitioncontrol
as mentioned in discussion.But there is no package for it on Extra-Testing.I am not getting which one to edit in the /usr/share/hildon-desktop/transitions.ini for this transition effect.

According to Kimmo it's not possible.

transitioncontrol package is not publicly available any more.
