Python on 5230

Hi guys

Im new to programming mobile devices. I have only little Python skills but i think its enough to try around.

I searched the whole web but i dont know how to make SISX-Files on my PC.

I want to code on my PC and then compile it to Symbian-Exe and then install it on my phone. I dont think it makes fun to code on my phone :S

How to do this?? Ive not found any site that can help me

Look at the pys60 documentation:

under "Packaging a Sample Application", it explains how to create a standalone python application. Also at the following page:

under "Setting up the Bluetooth Console" it is explained how to use your pc as a console to test simple scripts before producing the actual application (very useful).

Wheres the error in here?

NameError: name 'Image' is not defined

I imported graphics.

Use

import graphics

screen = graphics.Image.new((640, 360))

or

from graphics import Image

screen = Image.new((640, 360))

Search the Wiki for the words "execute script". Remeber that the memory card is drive E:
