This might have been covered, but I didn't find anything by searching.

Is there a process by which a product design can be approved prior to development?

I have an opportunity to port (under licence) some iPhone content, but I obviously don't want to engage in this process without knowing if the content would be considered acceptable under the Ovi T's & C's. (Likewise, other app stores, but that's for elsewhere.) It is, I should add, borderline violent - in my opinion, in a comic way, not gratuitous, but Ovi QA might not share my opinion.

Not that I am aware of.

If you are a bigshot publisher, you can force anything in - but as a small oneman show (or - if you are consulting a small company), forget it.
