Running an external application from within an J2ME app

Hello,

I'm working on an application that will send information about the Wifi signal strength at a given point, to a server that I will be hosting. To obtain the wlan signal strength, I'm using the wantools module (http://chris.berger.cx/PyS60/PyS60) by christophe berger. I am planning on using the GPS , and sending the lat and long to the server along with the wlan signal strengths. My plan is to obtain GPS info using a J2ME app and from within the app, to run an app written in python, to get the wlan signal strength information (if this is even possible). Please let me know if this is possible, and how?

I have the python app ready, and also the J2ME app that obtains GPS info and uploads to the server. The wlan signal strength is stored in a text file by the app written in python. The J2ME app will read this file and upload this data along with the GPS coords. The only bit missing is, to run the python app from inside the J2ME app (if possible) so i can get the latest wlan info, without having to run the python app everytime before I run the J2ME app.
