how to add play/pause buttons into gstreamer

I am able to play video in gstreamer.But I need to add some play/pause buttons into it.How i can add it.And also while i am launching video it is coming in new window i want it in the same window.

It says particularly nothing to me. Do you mean you are using xvimagesink?
By the way, did you try to use Phonon? (You've never mention your final goal you are trying to achieve)
